Financing the Farmers Who Feed Africa

From excluded farmer
to asset owner.

Africa's rural women and youth produce most of its food, yet receive almost none of its finance. ZetiUp closes the loop between financing, trade, and data to turn capability into collateral.

The Problem

The gap is not a capital problem.
It is an underwriting problem.

Agriculture receives less than 5% of total bank lending across Africa. Within that tiny fraction, women produce 70% of the continent's food but receive less than 10% of the available credit. This is not because they underperform, but because the system was never built to evaluate them.

The result is a closed trap: no data → no credit → no productivity → no data. ZetiUp breaks that loop by running finance, trade, and technology as one closed system.

“The system was never built to see them.”

The Process

Four steps. Zero barriers. Full ownership.

1

Apply Without Paperwork

No land title, collateral, or credit history. We underwrite the farmer, not the file.

2

Receive a Productive Asset

Lease-to-own greenhouse delivered and installed. Zero down payment, plus working capital.

3

Grow, Sell, Repay

100% offtake at guaranteed price. Repayment at point of sale. The farmer never holds loan money.

4

Own Outright. Build Credit.

Title transfers at lease end. Every harvest generates data that underwrites the next.

Our Model

Three pillars. One closed loop.

Finance, trade, and technology running as one integrated system, eliminating the friction that keeps smallholders excluded.

01

Finance

Capital without collateral

  • Lease-to-own greenhouses, zero down
  • No collateral or credit history needed
  • Yield-based working capital
  • Title transfers at lease end
02

Trade

Markets without middlemen

  • 100% offtake, guaranteed floor price
  • Hotels, supermarkets, processors
  • Auto-deduction at point of sale
  • Farmer never holds loan money
03

Technology

Data without doubt

  • Real-time yield & soil sensors
  • Proprietary credit engine
  • Transparent rules, self-improving
  • Every harvest underwrites the next

The Flywheel

Why it compounds.

Default risk engineered out

Repayment is structurally embedded in every transaction, not chased after. The design prevents default.

Climate risk mitigated at source

Greenhouses remove weather volatility from production, shielding farmer and balance sheet.

Underwriting that improves itself

Every cohort generates data that makes the next cheaper and safer. The model compounds. The cost curves down.

Who We Serve

Built for those the system was never built for.

Rural Women

The producers left out of credit

Grow 70% of the food. Receive less than 10% of the credit. We start here.

Ambition, not assets

No land, no history, no market access. We remove all three at once.

Cooperatives
Cooperatives

Trust and scale

Organized groups reduce default risk and multiply impact.

Our Mission
We didn't build a better lender. We built the system that makes lending work where it never has. Every farmer we finance generates data. Every data point reduces risk. Every risk reduction lowers the cost of capital for the next farmer.

That is the moat. That is the mission.
